Two people meet in an elevator that has broken down in a fancy hotel. One of them needs a date to a wedding the next day and the other one agrees to be his date. At first I was pretty intrigued by this idea even though I could kind of guess how it would play out. I read it though because I thought that the idea could be great if it was written right. It was not. It was the most predictable book I've ever read and it was also extremely repetitive. They basically got together during the weekend, had sex, got in a fight, made up, and repeated the whole process throughout the entire book. I also did not like the characters very much at all. I liked Alexa a little more than Drew but not much. I actually just skimmed the last 100 pages because I knew exactly what was going to happen and I was right!
