I won the "The Wedding Date" from Bookish First for giving my first impression of a few chapters of the book on Bookish First I wish to thank Bookish First, Berkley, and Jasmine Guillory for the opportunity to read this book and provide an honest review.
The last book that read was a downer (but a great read), but I needed something light and fun to read!! This book hit the mark and more. It was just what I needed!!
Now, this book isn't scheduled for release until February 2018, but it will be definitely one of those books to read by the pool with a fruity, adult beverage by the pool on spring break!! It will be just what one needs to get over the winter blahs and slide into spring. It's a super easy and enjoyable book!
This novel is about a chance encounter between Drew and Alexa on an elevator. The plot involves a wedding, donuts, Mexican food, and lots of adult beverages!! Do I need to say more?!?!
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this was a debut novel for the author. It was a great first book and I look forward to more books by this author.
