The story sucks you in immediately. Dateless to your ex’s wedding to your best friend? What a nightmare. Then, you just happen to find someone at the last minute who’s interesting and agrees to be your date. What luck! On the other hand, not being the perfect looking woman, a bit awkward and having a higher profile job and little time to date. Its something that we can all picture happening. It’s just the right amount of witty and cute with a little bit of modern fairytale in it. The main characters are relatable and likable. Everybody can relate to the feelings of awkwardness that she has, and the desperation to look good to your ex. This is a story I would definitely like to read more of.
