This was a solid romance read. If you like the fake dating trope, I'd recommend this. The plot starts right away with both characters getting stuck on the elevator together. Such a fun meet cute! I liked both main characters, although Drew periodically annoyed me with how often he put his foot in his mouth. He gets bonus points for prioritizing consent though. The banter between them was cute and entertaining for the most part. I also appreciated the racial and sexual diversity.
Now, onto the negative aspects of the book. The last third of the book was irritating. The MCs were constantly fighting, and there was a lack of the cute & fun scenes I loved so much from the beginning of the book. I don't mind a little bit of drama in my books, but they fought a little too much during this section of the book that it started to grate on my nerves. Also,,, they talked quite a bit about work and those conversations did start to bore me after a while.
