In this blurb we are introduced to Alexa and Drew, who meet when the elevator they are in has a power outage. They are quick to chat, learning a little bit about each other. Drew is inspired to invite Alexa as his plus one to a wedding he’s not excited to attend.
I enjoyed reading this. It was descriptive and caught me right from the beginning. We quickly learn a good amount about Alexa and her sister Olivia. They are both young women in important jobs, or at least the assumption is that they are young. We know they have a previously stressful relationship but the story doesn’t go into great detail. Which is good because the why isn’t as important.
What we don’t know, yet, is the entire story behind Drew Andy this wedding.
This is a book I’ll be adding to my ever-growing TBR pile!
