I liked it
What a charming, warm, sexy gem of a novel. I couldn’t put The Wedding Date down. I love a good romance and this delivered from the first page.
I had trouble believing this was a debut novel- it was so well written and a pleasure to read!
Sweet little romantic novel. Drew and Alexa both meet accidentally on an elevator and Drew asks Alexa to accompany him to a wedding. He wants her to pretend to be his girlfriend and the weekend turns out to be more than either expected.
There's a semi-meet-cute scene at the beginning involving a stuck elevator and I hope that the rest of the novel delivers the same style of writing and interactions.
This novel doesn't appear to break any new romance ground, but then do I really want it to? When it comes too romance I kind of subscribe to the 'if it ain't broke' idea. I do enjoy reading about a pretend romance and this does it.
