I love that this first look was long enough to completely draw me in to the story. As soon as the elevator got stuck, I was rooting for Maddie and Drew to fall in love. Hopefully that happens in this book! I l love that we have a strong female character, a lawyer with a great job, good friends and a full life, rather than a shallow shell of a character. I am intrigued to see how the wedding goes and even more intrigued to find out the true story behind Josh and the ex-girlfriend. My guess is that Maddie will find out something that will change her opinion of Josh, making her want to back out of of the budding relationship and they'll have to overcome this in order to live happily ever after. I can't wait to find out if my guess is correct. The writing style was that of the perfect summer book.

After reading the book, I loved it even more. The more you get to know these characters the more you are rooting for them to overcome their obstacles. Pick this up to read on the beach this summer!
