Well.. I believe The Wedding Date gives both positive and negative vibes. At some point I felt to be enjoying it and some times it felt a bit dragging.... The story goes like this.... Alexa, a young (assummed) black girl with a tenacious job is on her way to meet her elder sister to celebrate. And then, the power goes boom, and she gets stuck in an elevator with Drew (whom she takes certain time to acknowledge). Drew, who's a doctor is in need of a quick date to his ex's wedding. They both are easy to talk to and thus, begins a unique story. Drew asks Alexa to become his date for the wedding and Alexa, agrees to it.
Though I felt this book to be a funny and sweet read, but it drags out certain moments with over description. Overall, I definitely enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a quick, funny sweet read..
