This story is a modern-day romance about a doctor and a lawyer who meet in an elevator and end up as something more. It is told from the viewpoints of Alexa and Drew, two funny characters who can't seem to figure out how to tell each other what they want. Aside from their potential relationship forming, the reader also gets to see a personal side of both characters that leaves you rooting for their individual causes. Both characters grow over the course of the novel, making this more than just your average romance story. The author writes vivid descriptions that make you feel as though you are in California right with the characters. "The Wedding Date" is fast-paced and will leave you not wanting to put this book down until the end. A great light-read for anyone who enjoys a romance!
