A fun, steamy, interracial romance between the main characters, Drew and Alexa, after they randomly meet in an elevator and Drew asks Alexa to pretend to be his girlfriend at a wedding he is attending. I love this book because it is an honest portrayal of two people falling in love while overcoming several obstacles such as living on different ends of a big state, being different races, busy careers, etc. As they get to know each other neither is sure if the other is serious or just interested in a fun fling. The story is told in alternating points of view between Drew and Alexa, and from their first "date" on, the chemistry is there between them as are all the feelings that come with a new relationship including insecurity, awkwardness, sex, romance and every emotion in between. A great adult contemporary romance that I highly recommend for an easy and enjoyable read.
