I received a copy of The Wedding Date from Bookish First in exchange for my honest review. This was a fun, light and easy to get into book. It was a fun journey with two characters, Alexa and Drew, as they meet in an elevator and he needs a fake girlfriend to go with him to his ex girlfriend's wedding. The two people had an attraction to each other from the very first. They both have established careers they are very confident in but when it comes to their personal lives, it's a different story. Drew has trouble making a commitment to a relationship and Alexa has self image doubts. How do they get past these issues to make a relationship with each other? The story moves quickly and mostly predicable but I enjoyed it and found it a reading escape. I would read more from this author. TY, Bookish, for an ARC copy of this book.
