The first thing I immediately loved about this book is that the couple is mixed. We need more women of color as lead love interests! I immediately loved their banter and their quick inside jokes. They both are obviously attracted to each other but they're also super comfortable with each other because of the storyline. It takes away the awkwardness and pressure of first dates. I usually read more spicy novels but the implied sex scenes were handled well. The plotline moves forward at a great pace and it made me want to keep reading. I will now be looking for any other books this author has written. I would highly recommend this book for readers who don't like graphic sex scenes and even for those who do! The couple is cute and you root for them from the beginning.
