The Wedding Date is a cute, quirky fast read. It follows Alexa and Drew from their meeting in a stuck elevator, to pretending to be in a relationship, through developing an actual relationship. At times, the plot felt somewhat predictable. On of the things I really loved that throughout the book, Alexa and Drew continued their own professional lives. It kept this story from being a very shallow romance story and gave some perpspective on the characters. It also made me happy that Alexa and Drew had some great friendships that helped them realize what they wanted in their life. Carlos was one of my favorite characters. The sex wasn’t too graphic or too cheesy. This is a great book for people who enjoy rom-coms.
