This story begins with a power outage that leaves Drew and Alexa trapped in an elevator together. The hilarious banter between the two is immediate. Both characters are instantly likeable, and who doesn't love a very charming pediatric surgeon? There were multiple instances throughout the book that I actually laughed out loud for. While this book isn't what I would call "spicy" as a whole, there is definitely moments of tension and spice sprinkled in the story.
