Always love a fake dating premise.

I truly enjoyed this book and have since read the rest of the series. A fun meet cute in an elevator, which would be my worst nightmare, but such a neat twist to begin the story. Alexa helped Drew out in a pinch when he needed a date to a wedding. They have such a fun time that even though they've had to part ways they can't stop thinking about one another. As with all fake dating, the couple eventually decides to give it a go. Of course there are many roadblocks in the way to happily ever after, including living in different California cities.

I loved the writing in this book and it flowed really nicely to keep me interested in the plot of the story. There is, of course, drama towards the end of the book. However, the end truly makes up for all of that. It is a steamy read, so be sure to prepare for many open door scenes. Also, the food was such a pivotal point in this story, which was fun to see them bond through meals.
