The Wedding Date is a quick and light read. I loved the aspect of how the characters fell in love and worked through their conflicts towards the end. I also thoroughly enjoyed the minor characters and the development of each character. As the story moves on, I did get a little frustrated with the lack of communication, but honestly, that is a part of life and we all do it daily. This story teaches us to go with our gut and to communicate. I for one believe it is best to work through things early on to not waste time that could be spent happily together. I also really enjoyed how this story ended up tying in with the sequel book, The Proposal, and that the characters continue to shop up in different storylines.
