This book was a light & quick read, perfect for by the pool (which is where I was) but I wish it just had a little bit more to it. The whole book was literally the back cover. I could have saved myself a few days and just took the back cover as the in-depth synopsis.
The beginning starts off with potential, a meet-cute in a stuck elevator, but after that it starts heading downhill. You have Alexa, who spends too much time worried about everything (what to say, what to do, what about her job, etc.) and you have Drew. Poor Drew is not the best at romance. He's your typical hot doctor who doesn't do relationships.
I would definitely try this author again, I believe everyone deserves at least two shots, but this particular read just didn't do it for me.
