First off I loved the cover to The Wedding Date. I thought it was cute and the red made it really pop.
The book was a light and fluffy read which went by really fast. I really liked the pacing and the writing style was enjoyable. I really liked the characters Alexa and Drew, they were very different but they clicked really well and there interactions were pretty fun.
Some of the things I didn't like was that sometimes I felt like the story jumped and sometimes it would take me a second to regroup. I felt like the author couldn't write a sex scene because it always seemed awkward, it would start and then the next sentence it was over and it made you wonder what happened in-between and not really in a good way, it felt clunky to me. And while I enjoyed the interactions between Alexa and Drew after a while they felt kind of repetitive.
This was a good book to pass the time but I wouldn't say go out of your way to read it.
