After reading an excerpt of this book, I was counting down the days to this release. Alexa was hilarious and compelling, and I absolutely adored her. I also appreciated that she was a person of color, as contemporary romance is sorely lacking in diversity. Drew was realistic and flawed, and was incredibly sweet. I loved the chemistry between the two main characters, and was rooting for them throughout the book. I love both the fake relationship trope as well as the long-distance relationship trope, and the author did a great job with both. Some moments of the book did come across a bit cliche, but overall, I really enjoyed this novel and would easily recommend it to romance fans.
