Despite initial excitement about the premise- a fun romp with a real chance for romance in my favorite city, San Francisco, "The Wedding Date" lost me a few pages in. The story just cuts through all pretense of building background and character connection and starts in full hijinks mode, with the couple that could be trapped in an elevator together. I wanted to know more about Alexa before I learned about what she thought about Drew's butt.
