However, the first chapter was difficult to get through because I wasn't connecting with either or the two main characters. I absolutely love the idea of this book, though, that it's about an interracial relationship because you don't see that a lot in any kind of book, or maybe I just haven't been looking all that hard, who knows. I wish the author the best of luck with this debut. I don't think it's for me, but I'm sure it'll find its base, anyway.
