This was such a bubbly and engaging beginning to a nice light-hearted romance. The cover is just spot on for this novel that sees the unexpected elevator encounter between a small black girl, Alexa, and a funny charming young doctor, Drew. The dialogue between the two strangers, as well as between all the other characters works very well. I already feel like I know these people, they feel real and unpretentious. Plus one at a wedding where your date is the best friend of the groom and the ex-boyfriend of the bride? Can I join in the party too? I really want to know the follow-up to this cute romantic set up!
