My first thought was, “wait, just how big is her purse?” I mean, she’s got a bottle of champagne and cheese and crackers in there, and one would assume other (more typical) purse-type items, and she’s got to DIG to make sure the cheese and crackers are in there? Either that’s the world tiniest cheese wheel and, like, 3 crackers, or her purse is HUGE.
My second thought was that I sure enjoyed Alexa and Drew’s banter and instantly fun dynamic, so I guess I don’t really care how big her purse is (or isn’t).
They cover is cute but I’m not sure how well it conveys the tone of the book. With the silhouette profiles it feels more like they’re cameos and thus more old-fashioned.
