I love the cover and the premise is cute, if predictable. I was not wowed by the writing. The dialog was stilted and there was a lot of lazy syntax, with poorly punctuated sentences throughout (comma usage was especially wonky). These issues could be addressed with a thorough copyedit, which will hopefully happen before publication.
Bottom line: This book could be a fun beach read but it would really benefit from some additional editing.
