This is such an enjoyable book, and I did not see where it was going!

What do you do when your safe & structured life is derailed by an attractive, charismatic person, but your best friend is completely against the relationship? Ava Simon is an über-organized and focused woman designing her “Passion Project” – an engineering masterpiece – The Very Nice Box. She has created a safe life around herself after dealing with personal tragedy. But then Mat Putnam (“a literal Adonis”) enters Ava’s life and she immediately finds him annoying but yet curious. He’s messy and gregarious while she’s intensely sensible and practical. Even Ava’s virtual SHRNK (a text therapist offered through STÄDA) encourages her to be open to a relationship with Mat. But Is he too good to be true?

I loved following Ava’s journey as she navigates this new relationship with Mat while he challenges her to try new things, change her strict routine, and break the rules. You can’t put this book into one box (pun intended) as it fits into several different genres. As a side note, the STÄDA product names are absolutely hilarious! The story is full of clever tongue-in-cheek names that remind you of a popular Big Box store - I’ll bet the authors had so much fun creating them!

Thanks to @Bookishfirst & #TheVeryNiceBox for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
