3.5 ⭐️. This was a Very Nice Story. Coming off of "Interesting Facts About Space", this book gave me such familiar energy. While I felt the first half of the book was stronger and the second half felt predictable, I still enjoyed the main character's journey through grief, love & finding oneself.
Can't we all agree that Matt was the WORST. From the start he gave such slimy, swarmy energy, but Ava had to find that out for herself and ultimately confront her past that was uncomfortable and stored away (in her Very Nice Box).
This story follows Ava and Matt through a complicated fast and furious relationship with unexpected bumps along the way. Filled with IKEA-inspired corporate energy, we follow Ava as she navigates office culture, falling in love/ lust again, and journeying through grief. Ava is a complicated main character who you just can't stop yourself from rooting for!
