The Very Nice Box is a unique story that I think will appeal to a lot of people -- millennial readers in particular. It's part romcom, part thriller, part social critique and satire. I honestly found all of those parts a tad overwhelming and kind of just wanted the book to pick a direction, but perhaps it levels out later in the story. The tone is definitely unique, I'm just not sure that it is the right fit for me.
