STADA, Ava's place of employment, is obviously a stand-in for IKEA, but the way her work is described, it's difficult to picture. It feels like Ava is meant to be rigid but lovable, but ultimately it all feels a little too stereotypical and like the whole place and all of the characters are brushed with a broad stroke. Characters should be more complex. No one in real life is so rigidly one dimensional.
