This reads as a smart, almost-too-smart send up of the twenty-teens workplace of NYC, when Red Hook was still cool, everything had a cute start-upping name, and the truth of the matter was always darker and inevitably disappointing. I was a little torn - the jokes were kind of nudge-wink funny, but the book seemed a little too clever for its own good.
