There is something about quirky workplaces that tend to pull me into a story and if I can have quirky characters to go in those workplaces sign me up and I'm ready to read. The way the book talks about Strada we are meant to get a certain impression of their products as well as the community they have built for their workers. The excessive trainings and the forced happy gatherings are enough to make a reader cringe. Throw in an upheaval of managerial forces and some negativity/protestors surrounding the companies expansion and color me interested in the story. I'm curious to see what exactly Mat wants out of Ava as mentioned in the blurb and thus this book has piqued my interest to read the full text when it is available.
