For me, this first look definitely was reminiscent of Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. Ava seems quirky and individualistic. Mat is a character who will be interesting to see juxtaposed with Ava, and I would love to read more. Ava seems to be a creature of habit, and I predict Mat will change that about her. I think the blurb is inviting and made me want to read the first look.
