I don't like the desk/office job life (which I don't have one), but this reads insanely well. This is basically if The Office took place in an IKEA-like company building, and were one part rom-com to one part feminist contemporary fiction (so, not like The Office at all). Ngl, the beginning drew me in immediately (especially with how Ava's home was described, and that's what kept me going -- I wanted to know more about this woman who has her life arranged in such a structured way.

And sidenote: it bothers me that Ava has 2 pairs of shoes that she explicitly states are black, but the woman in the cover has on white shoes. Not exactly a criticism of the book, and I'll be the first to admit if I missed a detail while reading, but it does bother me hahaha
