I want to like this book, but the first sneak peek just didn't do it for me. The first chapter was info dumpy in regards to Stada and I was not invested in what was being said or told to me. Ava is ok as a character but a bit too into the quirky narrative... I can absolutely see a ton of people liking her but I think I'd need a while to warm up to her as a character. This isn't a book that I would naturally pick up (although the cover is fantastic!), but I might be interested in checking it out down the road.
