Overall, the Very Nice Box tells the story of an engineer at an Ikea-type design company who seems stereotypically set in her ways. Due to a corporate shakeup, her new boss is a young Whartonite, who seems to intrigue her. Even after only a First Impression, you can kind of tell how the story will end. It's a classic tale of rigid, walls-up girl meets spontaneous, charismatic boy. Sadly, this one was not gripping to me.
That said, I did like the jacket cover, which kind of looks like Ikea instructions. I think if you're a die-hard romance fan you might like this.
