Easily pulled in!
The Very Nice Box is about Ava, a senior engineer at STÄDA, a company that sells all sorts of products with innocuous names and semi-offensive capitalization (e.g., Useful Utensils, Pleasing Water Glasses, Practical Sofas). I really like its wry, tongue-in-cheek humor, and am here for a book that's both entertaining and smart.
I like the diagrams on the cover, as they evoke STÄDA's products, but I don't love the drawings of Ava and I assume her boss (they look a bit like they belong in an airline safety brochure). The dog is cute, though. And while it's not my favorite cover: I can't wait to read more.
