I love that the workplace fiction genre is gaining momentum, and "The Very Nice Box" is a very nice contributor. Engineer Ava's precision-based personality is instantly likable, and we see from the get-go that it may not mesh with Mat Putnam's. Stada, based in Brooklyn's Red Hook, is the perfect backdrop — it's an ultra modern workplace, with no handshakes, plenty of sanitizer and catered lunches. I cannot wait to watch Mat and Ava's worlds collide.

The cover is different — and that's a good thing. I like that it plays off of Ava's engineering work and also features Brutus.
