What a fun read! It was easy to get lost in the post-apocalyptic world created in this book. It's well established without going into too much detail. The imagery of the sunken buildings needs a story makes you wish that more of the story takes place under the water. I would love to reach more books set in this world just to see more of the traditions and cultures of the different reefs.
The characters are believable and unique. You quickly become invested in all of them.
The ending is realistic but leaves you a little unsatisfied. It's not because of what happens, but how it seems to quickly cut off. But I would definitely read more of this story to see what happens next to Tempest or of a spin off that is set in this world.
