What an amazing world The Vanishing Deep describes. I was entranced from Temptest's dives for relics through underwater ruins of old buildings from the time before the Great Waves. When Tempe dives into this one building and the coral covered skeletons are floating past her. She had not only nonchalantly swims past them but she had named them as well. Tempe a very admirable and enduring character. Lory was also one of my favorite characters in this book. Temptest ventures to Palindromena to revive her sister Elysea for 24 hours was fast paced and dramatic as they race against time to figure out what happened to their parents. Very creative storyline and excellent characters. Good book for young adults and adults a like!
