WOW! I love how organically this worlds history was woven into the start of the book. Instead of a long prologue explaining things, the history was succinctly explained within the first few chapters, through the main character's memories and musings.
I love how the character backstories were also woven in! With enough detail that I feel as though I know the characters already, but not so much detail that I don't want to know more! I NEED to know what Elysea knows, and why Tempest is so mad at her. I need to know if Lor will be able to forgive himself for what happened, and move on.
I cannot wait to continue reading this fantastic novel, and look forward to purchasing it as soon as I can, and binge-reading it!
