I really enjoyed the story of this book, and I loved the setting and description. I couldn't help but imagine the movie Waterworld (1995) with Kevin Costner. I always wondered what it would really be like living in a world of water, and how people would survive this way. Astrid did an excellent job of answering those curiosities for me. I enjoyed the little romance that took place in the story, although at first, I found the attraction between Tempe and Lor to be a little forced. However, it all came together well in the end. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but I thought this book was well written and has a place on the teen fiction shelf at my library. I would also consider this a clean book for anyone who is wondering. I want to thank Bookish First for giving me the opportunity to read this before publication.
