After reading the first three chapters I cannot wait to get my hands on this book in it's entirety! The story is told from the view point of two different characters who are living in a post-apocalyptic world that has been overtaken by water. I enjoyed the fresh and scientific take on necromancy and the attention to detail the author paid in building this story's world. The author draws you in from the very first page with fast paced chapters and enough questions at the end of them to leave you unable to put the book down.
The author has a very clear and strong voice, and an ability to take a genre that has very much flooded the market in the past decade and write a story that feels original. This is a fresh take on the dystopian novel and I am very much looking forward to getting to see where the rest of the books takes it's readers.
