I've read her previous book, FOUR DEAD QUEENS, and I loved her writing then and I love it even more now. There's something so fluid and graceful about her prose, and it makes the way her stories unfold absolutely mesmerizing.
I'm floored with how she begins THE VANISHING DEEP. There's not too much information about this new world, but just enough that we get a sense of how this world works so that we can formulate a load of questions that keep us wanting to read more. The level of mystery about this strange world is so intriguing, yet oddly familiar in a way I can't quite put into words.
I honestly can't wait until I get my hands on this; I'm so excited to see what twists and turns she takes us on next in this book.
