Again and again, I reap the benefit of expanding my horizons through these first looks. I did not think this was a book I'd want to read but now I'm not just slightly interested, I am very impressed and planning to add it to my Goodreads list. Astrid Scholte is a talented writer, crafting suspense within fantasy in a way that many others would not succeed in. She makes me want to turn the page.
