This book reminds me of the movie Waterworld, but with more sci-fi elements. After the Great Wave, most of the earth's land has been submerged, leaving just a few islands. Tempe is an expert divers who goes down to the old submerged cities looking for things to sell. She learned her diving skills from older sister Elysea before she drowned. This world can also revive (reanimate?) the dead, so Tempe is going to revive Elysea. Interested to see where this will go.
