Throughout the whole extract I felt compelled to keep reading, determined to find out why she now despises her sister.
It was mysterious and engaging.
Tempe, the main character, is very relatable as she is lonely as is Lor and I'm excited to read the whole book to find out what secret Tempe's sister was keeping.
The idea of being able to bring the dead back for a day is very interesting and I feel as though it's a very unique idea too.
Although I feel the story is great and intriguing so far, I'm not particularly keen on the cover as I feel it doesn't match the genre or catch the eye of the intended audience. Perhaps a drawing/illustration would be better than a photograph?
