Tempest and Lor are interesting characters living in a future world. Their dual POVs are strong and it's easy to sink into their heads and feel their emotions. The storytelling is fresh and intelligent and the tension is powerful. The first few chapters are about bringing back dead loved ones for 24 hours as a chance at a final goodbye, but it comes at a steep price. I don't particularly like the dystopian genre, but the writing is superb in this one.
