From the very first line of this book, I was absolutely hooked. Tempest is a fantastic and multi-layered main character whose pain and anger endeared me to her right away. The world-building is well-done and I really liked getting to know this world and what it took Tempest and Lor to survive another day. The premise is so unique and fascinating and I can't wait to read the whole thing!
The cover is absolutely stunning. While a lot of books are using animated characters, I really love a well-done cover with a real person. I adore the colors and simpleness of it.
