Grabs you from the very beginning!
From the very beginning of The Vanishing Deep readers are thrust into the story. There is no slow build up or getting to slowly know the characters. The story reaches out and smacks you in the face, letting you know exactly what the book is about while not giving away too much too fast.
The cover fits the story line, however, I would've liked to have seen more there. Possibly some of the sunken city under the water or the Equinox Reef?
I would love to read this book in its entirety because of the way it immediately caught and held my interest. Within those few pages, I had already started to form the imagery in my mind. Now I need to know what Tempest finds out when her sister is revived!
