I was thrilled to see another Astrid Scholte novel on BookishFirst, as I absolutely adore the way she blends fantasy and mystery! The fantastical aquatic setting of The Vanishing Deep instantly made me want to read this one, and was motivation enough to make me claim the book with my points!
