Wow! This book turned into so much more than I thought it would be. The first look made it seem like it was just about a troubled young man coming home from war trying to reconcile with his family.
When the other antagonist entered the fray... wow... I could not stop reading. I was terrified and horrified and excited all at the same time. Trigger warnings for torture and extreme violence.
I really can’t get over how the story took twists and turns like crazy. X was terrifying and brought every deep seeded fear I’ve ever had to the surface. Than on top of that Reece?? He takes terror to another level as well.
I highly recommend this read to anyone who loves thrillers and suspense. I was pretty much biting my lip the entire last few chapters. What an amazing read!
